Alpha Childcare and Community Development Organization is a Christian, Non-Profit organization based in Uganda, working to reduce and/or eradicate human suffering by responding to physical, spiritual and emotional needs of people.

EVANGELISM AND MISSIONS PROGRAM

Through this program we endeavour to reach out to people of all age groups with the gospel. We in ACCOD feel that all problems faced by human kind, need to deal with the spiritual needs then the physical needs will be easily dealt with. Given the example of the wars, HIV/AIDS scourge which has and it still is killing many people regardless of their age and status. To successfully realize the goals and objectives of this program, we endeavour to work in partnership/collaboration with other churches and Christian organizations both at local and international level.

Program Highlights

GOAL: To reach out and preach the gospel of Jesus to fulfil the great commission in Mark 16:15.
OBJECTIVES AND MAIN ACTIVITIES:. ACCOD set in place strategic activities through which to fulfil the above goal and accomplish its mission and purpose of existence to fulfil the great commission;

Objective 1. Reaching out to youths in schools and communities.
Objective 2.. Reaching out to people in the communities with the gospel.
Objective 3. To equip and empower Christians and Christian Leaders with the word of God.

OBJECTIVE 1. Reaching out to youths in schools and communities.

In order to fulfil this objective the following activities are carried out;

· Music and Drama

· Sports and Games

· Revival crusades

· Bible study

· Organizing and conducting youth revival conferences, work camps, and seminars.

· Designing, and distribution of Christian literature.

· Showing Christian video films.

OBJECTIVE 2. Reaching out to people in the communities with the gospel.

In order to fulfil this objective the following activities are carried out;

OBJECTIVE 3. To equip and empower Christians and Christian Leaders with the word of God

The following activities will be carried out in order to accomplish this objective;

To organize and conduct Christian leadership seminars, workshops, and conferences to train and equip church leaders with the word;
To organize Christian music and drama galas;
To organize bible study classes;
To train pastor in theology;
Planting churches and strengthening the existing churches.
Skills development of church leaders and workers through leadership training. Workshops.
