The Grandma Home Project

Grandma Home Complete!
Earlier this year a grandmother of nine
children orphaned, when their parents died of AIDS, was nearly crushed
when a storm demolished their house. Alpha Child Care in partnership with
Warm Blankets Orphan Care International were determined to keep this
family together. Practically this would mean they would need a new home.
With the support of several generous Christians construction went ahead in
faith. In time enough vital funding came in to complete the “Grandma Home”
as it is affectionately named.
On behalf of the family we say, Thank You to all who made this project a reality. The orphaned children have returned to school healthy, happy and hopeful. Would you consider being a part of the on going care of this orphan family? Please do let us know. What an opportunity to be part of this real solution to their world in crisis!
Throughout Africa, grandparents are taking
over the care of their grandchildren as the parents die. This will be a
new initiative to see if we can keep these families together. For more
